Dust off your running shoes and lace up! The 10th Annual Hattiesburg Half Marathon 2021 is scheduled for Saturday, April 10th.
What to Expect
Run through the heart of Hattiesburg along a route voted Mississippi’s Best Half Marathon 2019 by RaceRaves. This premier running event is a fundraiser for the Pinebelt Foundation and benefits participating nonprofits.
Last year, the race switched routes in response to the pandemic and went virtual. The race is in-person this year. Registration is now open. There are 1,000 available spots for participants in the Hattiesburg Half Marathon 2021.
In 2018 and 2019, almost half of the runners in the sold-out race traveled from outside a 50-mile radius. Maybe it’s the draw of the beautiful, flat course that begins and ends at the historic Hattiesburg Saenger Theater.
Not Your Speed?
Not interested in anything marathon-related? No sweat. Register for the 10K or 5K instead. One sweet thing about this half marathon is that it’s for charity. So, whether you run to run or run to give back, the race is a win-win.

Another cool thing about the Hattiesburg Half Marathon is how it became Mississippi’s Best Half Marathon Race by fans of RaceRaves. The Hattiesburg Half Marathon was not included in the original race listing for Mississippi. However, it received more than enough write-ins from verified finishers to win the title!
Back-Up Plan
The Hattiesburg Half Marathon 2021 is ready to go virtual if needed. Participants may choose to forego participation in the virtual event. The registration fee still goes directly to the local charities.
There are no refunds or deferrals in 2021.
